A traditional and indigenous martial art of Sri Lanka, Angam is said to be one of the oldest martial arts in the world. With techniques designed to kill, and focus on pressure points, this martial art has been strongly protected by those who practice it. This research report revolves around understanding and documenting this sacred martial art. Therefore, its aims at exploring and understanding the history and evolution of Angam, its different techniques and stages, the weapons used, and the various rules and rituals surrounding it.
