This research looks into Yakshagana Badagatittu, which is a dance-drama tradition based on the stories from Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Bhagavata Purana originating in Karnataka. The study observes how Yakshagana has evolved to reflect the changes industrialisation, globalisation and socioeconomic transformation that has brought to Karnataka.
